Bring a girl child to work

Sammy Leigh Mitchell en Jasmine du Plessis participated in the “bring a girl child to work” project. They went to “work” at the Legal Aid of South Africa offices in Aliwal North. There they could see first-hand how the legal system works and what a job in law entails. They accompanied the lawyers to court and the jail cells to meet with clients.

Both girls learned a lot and were at times shocked to see the darker side of society and the experience real world problems.
